Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026.
The short version: you do not need an account, we do not sell anything about you, and we do not want to know anything about your health. This site does carry advertising, and advertising uses cookies. That part is set out in full below rather than buried.
What we collect
When you simply read the site: nothing that identifies you. You do not need an account. There is no login for visitors.
Like any website, our server keeps ordinary access records for a short time, containing things such as the address your request came from, which page you asked for, and what browser you used. These are used to keep the site working and secure, and for nothing else.
When you use the contact form, you give us your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. That is sent to us by email so we can reply. We keep it for as long as it takes to deal with your message and no longer.
Advertising
This site carries advertising, and that is how it pays for itself. The advertising is supplied by Google, through its AdSense service. We do not pick the individual adverts, and we do not sell advertising ourselves.
- Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve adverts on this site.
- Those cookies let Google and its partners serve adverts to you based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
- Other advertising vendors and networks may also set cookies on your device when their adverts appear here.
- We do not pass your name, your email address, or anything you write to us on to Google or to any advertiser. The advertising and the contact form have nothing to do with each other.
You can switch off personalised advertising for yourself in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of a longer list of vendors at aboutads.info. Google sets out how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are reading this from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you are asked for your choice about advertising cookies before any are set, and you can change that choice whenever you like.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
- We do not ask for, and do not want, any information about your health. Please do not describe your symptoms or your medical history in the contact form. We cannot advise you, and it is not information we should be holding.
- We never join up anything you write to us with advertising. Not to target it, not to measure it, not for anything.
Other companies involved
Our website is hosted by Hostinger, and traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects the site and makes it load faster. Both of them necessarily handle the ordinary request records described above.
Advertising is served by Google, as described in the advertising section above.
Messages sent through the contact form are checked for spam by Akismet before they reach us.
These companies process that data on our behalf in order to run the site. Apart from advertising, which is explained above, we do not give any of them anything for their own purposes.
Cookies
Two different kinds of cookie may be set while you are here.
- Ours. Cookies that keep the site fast and secure, and that remember you if you leave a comment or sign in as staff.
- Advertising cookies. Set by Google and its advertising partners, as described above. These are not ours, and we cannot read them.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work without them.
Doctors listed on this site
The doctors listed here are named because they practise publicly and their own hospital or chamber publishes those details. We publish only professional information: name, qualifications, department, place of work, and the chamber’s own contact number. We do not publish a doctor’s personal address, personal telephone number, or anything about their private life.
If you are listed here and want a detail corrected, or want your listing removed, write to us and we will do it. You do not have to give a reason.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
