DoctorinBD.com is a directory. It is not a doctor, it is not a clinic, and nothing on it is medical advice.

We tell you who practises where, and how to reach them. That is the whole purpose of the site. Everything below follows from that.

This site does not give medical advice

Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a recommendation about your health. We do not know you, we have not examined you, and no page on this site has been written for your situation.

If you are unwell, speak to a qualified doctor. If you are already under treatment, do not change it because of anything you read here.

In an emergency, do not use this site

If someone is seriously ill or injured, go to the nearest hospital emergency department, or call the national emergency service on 999. Do not spend time looking up a chamber. Chambers keep limited hours and are not for emergencies.

We are not connected to any doctor or hospital

  • We take no appointments and no bookings. To see a doctor, you ring the chamber yourself, on the chamber’s own number, which is printed on the page.
  • We are not paid by any doctor, hospital or diagnostic centre, and no one can pay to appear here or to appear higher up.
  • Being listed here is not a recommendation from us, and it is not a comment on how good anybody is. It means we found their details published and recorded them.
  • Not being listed here means nothing either. Our coverage is incomplete and we say so.

The information can be out of date

Every listing carries the date it was last checked, printed on the page, so you can judge it for yourself.

Even so, doctors move, chambers close, and visiting hours change without anyone announcing it. Always telephone the chamber before you travel. We would rather you made one phone call than a wasted journey.

We do not invent anything

Where we do not have a piece of information, the page says so and leaves it blank. We would rather show you a gap than a guess. If you find something wrong, tell us on the contact page and we will correct it or remove it.
